The Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand Inc. (IBANZ) is New Zealand's professional body representing the interests of fire and general insurance brokers, risk managers and consumers in New Zealand.

IBANZ is the voice of the industry, advising members, government, consumer groups and other stakeholders on key insurance issues. The organisation also provides training, technical advice, guidance on regulation and business support. Our role is to raise, and maintain, standards.

IBANZ members pride themselves on the professional advice, range of products and services they provide. Their focus is always on the individual needs of the client. Between them, they handle the majority of NZ's corporate, commercial and consumer general insurance requirements.

IBANZ provides a continuing professional development program for members leading to the status of QPIB or PIB which recognises achievement of a professional standard and the ongoing development of skills.
